In Turkey many doctors and surgeons and dentists practice privately, normally from out of their own apartments. Consequently There are many separate individual advertisements for specialists and the like. There are also health centers (polyclinics) in many of the dormitory suburbs in the larger cities. Also blood is big business and one can often see signs looking for fresh supplies.

Here we can see a myriad of such signs - there is a dentist, an ear nose and throat specialist and other doctors plying for trade from their own homes.
